Est. April 2014

The vision: - Promote and support Traditional to Modern Country Music in New Zealand.

new zealand country music, country music old time, traditional country music

This website was established in April 2014 by Don Smythe.  When he decided to step aside, I felt that such a resource should continue. In August 2019 I took over from Don and intend to  continuing with his vision.

Having enjoyed country music for many years, including singing and playing, this site is a good fit for me. It was particularly pleasurable  to be a founding member of Silverpeaks Country Music Club.  While I moved North, my involvement has continued with designing and  maintaining their website and the occasional visit to their events.

Don received great support from many around NZ and abroad, and I hope that I can earn that support as we move forward.
